How do I place an order online?
Place a product in your shopping cart by selecting size and quantity, then click the "ADD TO CART" button. A pop up of your shopping cart will appear to the right of your screen. You can also access your cart a any time by
clicking the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner of the top menu.
From the cart page you can add any further messages and requests, discount coupons etc. and proceed to "CHECKOUT" or continue shopping. Items added to the shopping cart are not reserved until you complete checkout and secure payment.
What are your secure payment options?
The David Rodger Sharp website offers online payments via third party payment providers PayPal. Your order information is passed to the third party for processing and is secured in transit via SSL. We do not see your card details and will only receive notification to proceed the order once your payment has been successful on the third party platform.
We can take payment over the phone using our secure in store card payment system from Allied Irish Bank.
We also accept payments by direct bank transfer in some circumstances and are happy to provide our banking details upon order request.
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping within the UK: For orders over £50 our shipping is free to anywhere within the UK.
International Shipping: For International Sales under £500 there will be a cost for delivery based on standard Royal Mail International Signed for rates. Please contact us for shipping options & rates on orders with value over £500.
What is your returns policy?
14-day Returns Guarantee: Rest assured we will issue a full refund if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase. You can contact us to cancel the order and return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. To ensure the safe return of your items, please follow the guidelines below;
1. Contact us to let us know you are returning the item.
2. Include a copy of the original receipt, purchase order confirmation email or name of the person who ordered the item, order number and the reason for the return.
3. Return the item with all the manufacturer's original packaging.
4. Make sure the return postage is secure and insured.
What is your refunds policy?
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within two weeks of our receiving your return. If you are returning an item within 28 days because of an error on our part we will refund the cost of the recorded delivery return postage.

How are pre-owned watches graded?
Grading: David Rodger Sharp independently assess all pre-owned watches for sale on our site to the following categorisation:
New (Unworn): New watch in its original box and presented with papers. The watch still has the protective stickers on. The watch is sold pre-owned rather than brand new because the manufacturer warranty has been activated
Mint: The watch is pre-owned and been worn, however in a near flawless condition. The movement keeps perfect time. Still in its original box and is presented with papers, although stickers would have been removed. Ex-display watches are often mint condition.
Excellent: The watch is still in excellent condition with barely visible signs of wear. There may be moderate bracelet / band stretch. All functions work properly. The watch keeps time within 2 seconds a day for a quartz movement or 10 seconds a day for non-quartz when fully wound. The movement has been serviced within the previous 5 years or is less than 5 years old. Still in its original box and is presented with papers and service records where appropriate.
Very Good: The watch has visible signs of wear but is in very good working order. There may be average bracelet / band stretch. The watch keeps time within 5 seconds a day for a quartz movement or 30 seconds a day for non-quartz when fully wound. All functions work properly. Movement has been serviced within the previous 10 years or is less than 10 years old. May not have original box or paperwork.
Good: The watch has visible signs of wear but is in good working order. There is likely to be average bracelet / band stretch. The watch keeps time within 10 seconds a day for a quartz movement or 1 minute a day for non-quartz when fully wound. All functions work properly. May not have service history, original box or paperwork.
Vintage: Usually classic timepieces that have been restored based on the parts available. The case and bracelet
How do I chose the right size watch ?
Our watches are listed with a the case dimensions in millimetres under the specification heading. Print out a copy of our watch sizing guide on A4 paper at 100% scale to see a print out of the actual diameter of each watch.
How do I chose the right size ring ?
Our rings are listed with options in UK and US sizing. We always recommend that you have your finger measured by a professional jeweller in your area so that we can guarantee a correct fit. If you are local, please visit us in Henley-on-Thames for your finger size.
